Sea Sailing Courses

Day cruising. Up to 3 students, the aim of this course is to have a first look on how a livable sailing boat behave at sea. Overview on all the instruments the sail school boat is equipped with, and basic maneuvers demonstration. This training last one afternoon (4 hours).  

Price: 80 usd per person.

Up to 3 students on board, 2 days, 14 hours. This course have an academic part in the morning and a practical part in the afternoon. The academic part will focus firstly on safety on board, but also on how to work with electronic nautical charts, understand the magnetic compass, and talk about weather forecast according to the monsoon season. The afternoon we will sail around and learn how to leave and come back to anchorage, basic school sailing maneuvers and we will practice the "Man Over Board" emergency maneuver, either under engine and under sails.  

Price: 250 usd per person.

Up to 3 students on board, 2 days, 14 hours. The students who had accomplished the initiation level would be eligible to this course.  This level is more practical than academic, we will however take some time to prepare our sailing by using paper charts and the tools that come with. More sail maneuvers, and basic mechanical school teaching. The students should be able to maneuver the boat by themselves at the end of the training.

Up to 3 students onboard, 3 days/ 2 Nights. Students who had accomplished courses level 1 and 2 would be eligible to this training. The students will prepare their sailing using paper charts, estimating dangers and timing according to weather forecast and tide table. They will sail the school boat by their own. This will train the students to watch-keeping in long passage and will start their mileage building. They will learn how to choose a safe anchorage according to the weather, and they will enjoy for few days the daily life aboard a sailboat in stunning Palawan !
